What is Blackout? Blackout is a MacDim module that simply puts your screens to black when your computer is at rest. You can use Blackout as a simple program, but it likes to communicate with MacDim. This means that the screensaver starts when you want it and quits when you are going back to work. You will never have a hidden background application eating memory. The greatest advantage with Blackout is that you can use the MacDim password protection without showing anything on your desktop. This module has been made with the sample shell available. |
